Ensure the Notes binary folder is in the path. (Don't move nnotes.dll to a system folder as it will expect to be able to open other files from the notes bin folder) |

Check that only one copy (or exact copies) of notes.ini are in the path. (An old notes.ini can cause lockups as the system looks for invalid notes servers) |

The folder that contains the user.id file again should be in the path. (Sometimes it's been seen to work without this, but adding the folder to the path has solved problems in the past) |

Remember that path updates require a reboot under NT even though you can apply them. |

Ensure that within the notes application selecting "open mail" from the bottom right popup menu works correctly. |
