Adding a Scheme

1.Ensure the Site List screen is displayed.  ("Site List icon Site List" on the Side Bar will be greyed-out when the Site List is displayed).
2.Toggle Edit Mode to ON.
3.Click on the folder in which the new scheme is to be held.
4.Select the "Add Scheme Add Scheme" icon from the tool bar. (Hint: If the Add Scheme icon is greyed-out, then either:
Edit Mode has not been selected, or
the login account in use does not have the authority to add a scheme).
5.Complete the displayed Scheme Properties form.  (NOTE: The fields displayed in the Scheme Properties dialog match those displayed on the Site List).

Although information can be input manually to the Scheme Properties form, the more specific the location selected for the creation of a scheme, the greater the number of fields on the form which will be populated automatically.  (NOTE: Any automatically inserted text may be amended by clicking into the appropriate field and over typing).

 

Client Name: Completed automatically.
Module Type: Depending on the settings of the Site List, this field may be completed automatically.  If it is blank, or to change the selected module type, click into the field and select the required module from the drop-down box.  (NOTE:  Selecting "All Active Modules" will create a scheme with the same Building Name, Scheme Reference and Scheme Description in all available modules).
Building: Depending on the settings of the Site List, this field may be completed automatically.  If it is blank, or to change the selected building name, click into the field and input the correct building name.  (HINT: If a building name not previously used is input, that building will be created under the selected module type(s)).
Scheme Ref: Click into the box and assign a reference for the scheme unique to the location in which the scheme is to be placed.  (NOTE: A maximum of 40 characters may be input to this field).
Scheme Description: Click into the box and input a description of the scheme.  (HINT: If no description is required, click into the box and press the space bar).

 

If any field is left blank, an error message will display prompting the completion of the field.

6.Click the Create Scheme button to save the new scheme or Cancel to abandon the creation.  The Site List will refresh to reflect the addition of the new scheme.
7.Complete the Scheme Details:
i.Ensure the new scheme is highlighted on the Site List and select "Details Details For" from the Side Bar.
ii.The scheme details will display:

iii.Toggle Edit Mode to ON and complete any sections necessary.
iv.Click the Save icon to save the changes.
