Linking a Global Procedure

1.Highlight the appropriate Schedule from the Site list, and select "Schedule Schedule For" from the Side Bar.
2.Click on the required asset.
3.Toggle Edit Mode to ON.
4.Click into the "Prep. Procedure" field and input the relevant Procedure Reference.
5.Click the Save icon to save.

 

 

Viewing Global Procedures

A listing of all the Global Procedures in use within the Prime database is available from the Tools Menu option:

 

1.Select Tools > View Global Procedures from the Menu Bar.
2.A listing of Global Procedures will be displayed:

 

       global proc list        

 

3.Double-click on the required Global Procedure to view it:

4.To return to the list of Global Procedures, re-select Tools > View Global Procedures from the Menu Bar.  Alternatively, select "Site List icon Site List" from the Side Bar to return to Prime.

 

To view the Global Procedure listed against a specific asset:

 

1.Highlight the appropriate schedule from the Site List and select "Schedule Schedule For" from the Side Bar.
2.Click on the appropriate asset  and double-click on the reference in the "Prep. Procedure" field.  (NOTE: If the Global Procedure referred to in the "Prep. Procedure" field has been removed from the database, Prime will be unable to access the procedure.  A "Procedure Not Found" dialog box will open:

               

       proc not found

 

       This will contain details of those Global Procedures which have similarities in their procedure reference numbers.  Scroll through the listing to identify the correct procedure and click the Show {Procedure Ref.} button to view the appropriate procedure).
