Various settings may be applied to the list of Overdue Inspections returned:
| • | Include Thorough Inspections – applied by default. All overdue Thorough Inspections will be listed. |
| • | Include Working Inspections – applied by default. All overdue Working Inspections will be listed. |
| • | Include Blank Dates – Some assets may have blank dates in the Planned and/or Due Date fields. When applied, any such items will be displayed on the Overdue Inspection listing. |
| • | Exclude Items With 0 Frequency – applied by default. Certain assets may be marked as having an inspection frequency of zero. Applying this setting ensures that items which do not have inspection dates will be excluded from the Overdue Inspections listing. For example: it may be impossible to carry out a Thorough examination. The competent person may therefore set the correct frequency for the Working examination, but set the Thorough frequency to 0. Alternatively, if both Thorough and Working examinations are required to be undertaken concurrently, the frequency of the Working examination may be set to 0 whilst the Thorough examination is set correctly. |
| • | Display Reports Outstanding for over 28 Days – applied by default. In addition to items past their statutory due date of inspection, this setting displays inspections that occurred more than 28 days ago but for which no report has been received. Current PSSR legislation stipulates that 28 days is the statutory limit between an inspection being carried out and a report being supplied. |
| • | Exclude Items in the Warehouse – Prime's "Warehouse" folder should be used to contain the details of those items which are no longer in use but which are still owned. Applying this setting will exclude items whose location is "Warehouse" from being returned in searches for overdue inspections. (NOTE: LMP strongly recommends that all clients create a building called "Warehouse" solely for the purpose of holding details of assets currently removed from service. If a client has a physical location called "Warehouse" it should (within Prime) be named Main Warehouse to differentiate it from the "Warehouse" folder). |
| • | Calculate Overdues Using Planned Dates - by default, overdue inspections are calculated using the Planned Inspection date (ie the date set by the user). This may be altered to calculate inspections using their Due Date of Inspection. |
| • | Slack Period (Days) - enables a user-defined grace period between the examination of an asset and the report for this examination being received. The slack period is calculated from the Due Date of Inspection. By default, the slack period is set to 0. |
