Scheme Actions

All items within the Prime database are organised into Schemes or Schedules.  Technically, a Schedule is a list of plant, whilst a Scheme comprises the Schedule itself along with a list of Exclusions, details of the Schedule Cover, Additional Information and a Revision History.  In practice, the terms Scheme and Schedule are used interchangeably.

On start-up, Prime will, by default, open onto the Site List screen.

The Site List screen is the primary navigation point within Prime.  The Site List is divided into two: the Data Area in the top half of the scheme presents a hierarchical view of data (structured by Client Name, Module Type and Building) which can be manipulated as any List Screen, whilst the Preview Pane in the lower half of the screen presents a preview ONLY of data.  Information within the Preview Pane can NOT be edited.

Removing the Preview Pane from view on the Site List can speed up navigation around Prime.  To hide the Preview Pane:

1.Access the Site List screen.
2.Right-click in the hierarchical pane.
3.Select "close preview pane Hide Preview Window" from the subsequent menu.

To display a hidden Preview Pane:

1.Access the Site List screen.
2.Right-click in the hierarchical pane.
3.Select "show preview pane Show Preview Window" from the subsequent menu.

The Reference (Scheme Ref) and Description (Scheme Description) fields of schemes displayed on the Site List are colour-coded to indicate whether a scheme is Uncertified, Certified or Validated/Audited:

Red – An Uncertified scheme.  Changes may be made to the scheme itself or the assets within it by a user with a sufficient security level.
Green – A Certified scheme.  Certified schemes, and the assets contained within them, cannot be amended.  If amendments are required, the scheme must first be reverted to Uncertified status. (NOTE: This requires a security level of at least 80).
Blue – The Scheme has been Audited/Validated.  Audited schemes, and the assets contained within them, cannot be amended.  If amendments are required, the scheme must first be reverted to Uncertified status. (NOTE: This requires a security level of at least 80).
