Screens and Connections

Before completing a login to Prime, screens and connection settings may be configured.

 

1.Open Prime.
2.Enter the Username and Password details and click Configure.

3.The Configure Settings dialog box will open on the General Settings tab.

 

General Settings

 

From this tab, the amount of time before receiving a "Server Timeout" message from the system can be changed.  The system default is to 30 seconds, but this can be set to any time between 30 seconds and a maximum of 5 minutes.

1.Drag the indicator across the screen until the required time limit is displayed.
2.Select Save and once saved, Close to retain the setting, or Close to abandon any changes and return to the Logon screen.

 

Internet Settings

 

NOTE:  The options on the Internet Settings tab control the way that data is passed between Prime and the database.  Consequently, Internet Settings should not be amended unless specifically instructed to do so by LMP.

 

Registry Reset

 

Registry Reset will return selected screens to their default layout.

1.Select the required Reset Type – All Screens or Selected Screens.
2.If Selected Screens has been chosen, select those screens which require re-setting.
3.Choose to either:
Restore the default settings(s):
i.Select Reset Layout(s).
ii.Click Yes in the subsequent dialog box to confirm the reset (clicking No will abandon the reset and return to the Registry Reset screen)
iii.A "Success"  dialog box will open to indicate that the reset has been applied.  Click OK to return to the Logon screen.
Abandon the changes:
i.Click Close to return to the Logon screen.

 

NOTE: Applying a Registry Reset to the Search screen will disenable any Search Settings currently applied.
