LMP strongly recommends that where a building called Warehouse has not previously been created in each module, one should be created immediately. The function of the Warehouse building is to store details of those assets which are currently removed from service but which are still retained. If these assets are ever returned to service, they can be moved back to their correct location maintaining a clear reporting system. Further details on the Warehouse may be found in the "Overdue Inspection Settings" section of this manual.
(NOTE: LMP strongly recommends that all clients create a building called "Warehouse" solely for the purpose of holding details of assets currently removed from service. If a client has a physical location called "Warehouse" it should (within Prime) be named Main Warehouse to differentiate it).
To move an asset from a schedule to the Warehouse:
| 1. | Highlight the appropriate schedule from the Site List screen and select " Schedule For" from the Side Bar. |
| 2. | Click on the required asset and toggle Edit Mode to ON. |
| 3. | Ensure the asset has been marked as Excluded. (NOTE: If assets are not marked as excluded they will continue to appear as overdue on the Status screen). |
| 3. | Click the icon (Cut) on the Tool Bar. |
| 4. | Select Site List and open the destination Warehouse schedule from the Side Bar. |
| 5. | Ensure Edit Mode is ON. |
| 6. | Right-click in the Data Area and select " Paste" from the subsequent menu. |
| 7. | Select Yes from the "Paste Position" dialog box in order to paste the asset at the foot of the Warehouse schedule. |
