LMP specialize in providing Competent Person services to create Written Schemes of Examination in accordance with the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations. Our Engineering Consultants have a wealth of knowledge of pressure plant across a wide variety of industry applications. All our Engineering Consultants have had experience of carrying out Statutory Inspections giving them a unique insight into the differing requirements of plant owners and statutory inspectors.
We strongly believe that each installation should be considered separately and not as a generic piece of equipment. We will therefore look at the pressure envelope of each installation and assess the system accordingly, taking into account the location/environment, control systems and maintenance levels. Because of this we insist on carrying out a site survey before a Written Scheme can be certified.
This often leads us to produce specific inspection procedures for plant at different sites, or at different locations within the same site, and allows us to use inspection techniques and frequencies based on the individual item within a system, and NOT on generic types.
Although legislation requires certain information to be contained within a Written Scheme of Examination, we are happy to incorporate any additional information into our Schedules to allow for easy identification of plant and to assist in plant management.
