2.00.14 List Options Asset Location has been added to the list of available columns in all lists.
2.00.13 Correction The fix introduced in 2.00.12 had a side effect that would permit duplicate reports to be read in. Now corrected.
2.00.12 False Overdues Train2 could get confused wrt overdues when an item was was previously reported on a LOLM1 form and then subsequently reported on a LOLP1 form. Now corrected, running this version of Train will remove these false overdues from the system Alert page.
2.00.11 Lotus Notes Configuration Configuring Train to talk to Lotus Notes has always been a more manual task than other email systems. This version introduces new logic that will attempt to perform the configuration automatically without the need for the PATH environment to be updated.
2.00.10 De-Duplication Support The new De-Duplicator (Available for download from Additional Tools), does not phyisically remove duplicated reports, instead it marks them as invisible to Train. This update to Train supports that invisibility flagging.

2.00.09 Corrected Location View When selecting a sub-location from the location list no reports were listed. This has now been corrected.

2.00.08 See Modification. Alert Page
  1. Corrected SQL query error when removing repairs or overdue items from the lists
  2. Corrected overdue list title. The slack value disappeared after removing item(s).
  3. Corrected repair list title. After removing a repair(s) the incorrect title appeared above the list.

Forms and Database

This release updates the forms EC1, LOLI1, LOLP1, PIR1, and RONI1. The electronic copies now better match the paper copies as dates are now displayed against an asset(s) as required. Also the order of the fields has been changed to match the paper copy.
On making these changes it was discovered that the LOLP1 report was not saving its information correctly to the database. This has been corrected and all reports received into the system after this update has been applied will be stored correctly.
More seriously the PRI1 report had missing data all together. The safe working load / safe operating limit data was missing from the information supplied to us by HSB Haughton and hence missing in the electronic report. This has now been added to the system and all reports sent out from the 30/08/2001 contain the safe working load / safe operating limit data, although this data will only be processed by Train from this release onwards.

It is recommended that this update be applied as soon as possible.

Many thanks to Neil Hardwick for pointing out the errors and supplying copies of the reports, so that we could correct these issues.

2.00.06 Added support for version 1.2 emails Train 2 will now also read Train 1.2 reports by email. This will allow a user to upgrade to Version 2 even though a colleague he shares reports with is still on version 1.2
2.00.05 Transfer from Version 1 On transfering from version 1, early versions of Train 2 would not set internal pointers to append new data after the transfered data. This would cause primary key exceptions, now fixed.
2.00.04 Database Adjustment The size of the database for some PSR responses has been increased to eliminate right truncation errors.
2.00.03 Invalid Form Type Train 2 has been made backwards compatible with Train 1 archive files. This has had the side affect of forcing users already using earlier versions of Train 2 to 2.00.03
2.00.02 Copy List to Excel The feature to copy a list's contents to the clipboard for transferring to Excel was broken, now fixed.
2.00.01 Database Connection On some systems, Train would pause at startup whilst attempting to connect to the database. This has now been corrected
