Reporting Systems permit the inspection organization to manage the business process involved in carrying out engineering inspections and the documentation of the inspector’s findings. At their very simplest they consist of a database of plant schedules, completed reports and their associated entry forms, other common features would include inspection planning, links to client Electronic Report systems, intelligent forms and time-sheet capture to name but a few.
Prime is an asset management system that has always concentrated upon the management and control of information relating to statutory compliance of plant. Through the use of ‘bolt on’ modules, Prime can be extended to cover client specific requirements such as generation of inspection reports both on screen or via the use of hand held devices for write once in field reporting. To this end, Prime is currently used by a number of inspection companies to generate statutory inspection reports for their clients through on screen report generation or via hand-held devices.
In addition to independent inspection organizations, the report generation capabilities of Prime are also in use by an number of companies that perform in-house monitoring and reporting.
